Nokia's new OS for low end phones. Empty
PostSubject: Nokia's new OS for low end phones.   Nokia's new OS for low end phones. Icon_minitimeFri Sep 30, 2011 1:24 am

Nokia is launching new Linux based for low end mobile segments named Meltemi. There's not much information available right now, but it may be a look-alike of S40 (to maintain consistency), but boasts the goodness of Linux platform. It's supposed to be quite powerful for the segment it targets. Although I'm totally skeptical about it's success, Linux based OS for low end segment is quite an interesting idea if it happens.
