Counter Strike: Global Offensive

As many of you already aware of, Steam is launchin the latest Counter Strike game in 2012, named Counter Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO). The high point of the game is sought as it's visual face-lift, which now make it in line with Modern Warfare types games . But if you think this is all, then you're mistaken. Not only visual face-lift, but CS:GO will be available on consoles as well, and will support cross platform play - means now you can use your kill-skill on any platform and join the bigger war . Also all the existing contents are intact, so you can still play beloved dust on new game.

But still there are a lot to see for this game. Though Source was great and successful, it generally not that consistent (Just because of varied memory use of each map). Also, we don't know how much of original gameplay is retained. You know, gamer will avoid this game if same fast paced, adrenaline gameplay is not there. Also, we don't know how heavy this game will be on the system, though it should not a issue on consoles.

I'm already having my fingers crossed for this game. What about you?

Forgot to add, they've included quite a new set of maps, and game modes to the existing roster. And from the video the weapon selection and other visuals are lookin like a killer feature!

The cross platform play feature is exciting !

You can play even from PC where your friend is on PS3 or XBOX360 ..

This is promising for massively multiplayer gaming epic ...

In 2001 CS became no 1 in multiplayer title .. and now history will be written again !!
